Integrated Logistics Support Manager | Defence

Help deliver the logistics support behind Defence’s secure communications capability. Azooa is seeking an experienced ILS Manager to support the Information Assurance Systems Program Office (IASPO) and JNT09141 COMSEC Modernisation Program.

The opportunity

• Campbell Park Offices, Canberra | Onsite
• One full-time contract position | Skill Level 3
• Start ASAP | To 30 June 2027, with a possible extension
• Existing NV1 security clearance or higher required

Work across High Assurance Cryptographic Equipment (HACE) acquisition projects and capability submissions to Government, helping transition new capabilities into operational service and sustainment.

What you’ll do

• Develop and update Government submission documents, ILSP, ILSI, COMSEC Engineering Management Instructions, Product Support Analysis and Physical Configuration Audit documentation.
• Lead monthly ILS Working Groups, record minutes and track actions with project teams, capability operators, sponsors and vendors.
• Coordinate document reviews, endorsement, stakeholder acceptance and transition into sustainment.
• Develop Training Plans, coordinate training outcomes and address capability gaps.
• Maintain ILS artefacts following testing, system enhancements and configuration or engineering changes.
• Contribute to project and engineering plans, risk workshops and regular status reporting.

What you’ll bring

• Experience drafting Government submission documentation.
• Materiel Codification Catalogue Course (MCCAT) and Introduction to Codification.
• Asset Under Construction experience using ACT or ART.
• Foreign Military Sales and Configuration Management Tool experience.
• ERP experience using SAP S/4HANA.

Security and working arrangements

You must hold NV1 or higher. This role may involve US export-controlled materiel; country of birth and dual citizenship disclosures and any required access approval will form part of recruitment.

No remote opportunity is advertised. The RFQ also specifies at least three days onsite each week; the precise attendance arrangement is to be confirmed.
