Logistics Manager

Main Purpose of the Role :

As a Logistics Manager, you will be responsible for coordinating logistical and administrative activities between customers, distribution centers, internal and external manufacturing sites, and logistics partners. You will ensure product availability, efficient order management, and compliance with quality, financial, and regulatory requirements in an international pharmaceutical environment.

Key Responsibilities :

• Manage customer orders from receipt through to invoicing.
• Issue invoices and shipping documentation.
• Ensure high customer service levels and on-time deliveries.
• Monitor system performance and inventory levels across European distribution centers.
• Act as the main point of contact between customers, distribution centers, manufacturing sites, and external partners.
• Coordinate transportation activities between manufacturing sites, third-party logistics providers (3PLs), and customers.
• Support import/export operations in collaboration with relevant stakeholders.
• Manage product returns, repackaging activities, and associated costs.
• Participate in monthly inventory reviews with logistics providers and Contract Manufacturing Organizations (CMOs).
• Process supplier invoices and investigate pricing discrepancies or payment requests.
• Provide supporting documents for financial audits.
• Ensure compliance with monthly and year-end closing deadlines.
• Maintain compliance with Good Distribution Practices (GDP).
• Ensure the accuracy and integrity of supply chain data.

Profile :

• Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Logistics, Operations Management, or a related field.
• Minimum 3 years of experience in an international Supply Chain environment.
• Experience within the pharmaceutical, biotechnology, or FMCG industry.
• Strong knowledge of international distribution, import/export activities, and management of logistics service providers (3PLs, freight forwarders, subcontractors).
• Solid understanding of Supply Chain and logistics processes.
• Strong IT and Microsoft Office skills.
• Fluent in English
