Logistics Manager (Precast Concrete)

Precast Concrete (Pontian) Sdn Bhd is an established precast concrete manufacturer based in Pontian, Johor. We specialize in producing high-quality precast concrete components for construction projects delivered to Singapore. As we continue to grow, we are looking for an experienced and dedicated Logistics Manager to join our team and support our daily logistics operations.

• Plan and coordinate daily transportation and delivery schedules for precast products.
• Manage logistics operations from production site to project sites, including delivery to Singapore where required.
• Coordinate with Production, Sales, Planning and project teams to ensure timely deliveries.
• Liaise with transporters, lorry/trailer operators and external logistics service providers.
• Monitor vehicle utilisation, delivery costs, transportation performance and turnaround time.
• Ensure proper documentation for deliveries, including delivery orders and relevant transport documents.
• Monitor loading, unloading and transportation arrangements to minimise damage to precast products.
• Handle delivery issues, delays and urgent transportation requirements.
• Monitor transporter performance and negotiate transportation rates when required.
• Ensure logistics activities comply with company procedures, safety requirements and applicable regulations.
• Support the management of LMW-related logistics/documentation, where applicable, with the appointed agent.
• Prepare logistics reports and provide updates to management.

Requirements:

• Diploma/Degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration or a related field.
• Minimum 5 years of relevant experience, preferably in the construction, precast concrete, manufacturing or heavy transportation industry.
• Experience in managing heavy haulage, trailers or oversized cargo will be an advantage.
• Good knowledge of transportation planning, logistics operations and delivery coordination.
• Strong communication and coordination skills.
• Able to work independently and handle urgent or last-minute delivery arrangements.
• Good problem-solving and organisational skills.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office.
• Willing to work in Pontian, Johor.
