Logistics Manager, Private Client Relocations (Part-Time, Potential Full-Time)

About the Role
Our client, a relocation services firm for ultra-high-net-worth (UHNW) individuals, families, and family offices, is hiring a part-time Logistics Manager, with potential to move to full-time. You will manage every detail of a client's move so the client doesn't have to. Our clients are often older, established families who expect a fully handled move and minimal involvement on their part.

This is a management and client-service role, not a moving or packing role. Movers and packers handle the physical work. You plan, coordinate, oversee, and take care of everything that falls outside their scope.

Responsibilities

Client Onboarding and Planning

• Onboard new clients and conduct on-site home visits
• Inventory household assets and document their condition
• Build and maintain project boards for each move
• Develop move plans and timelines with clients, family members, and family office staff

Advisory Services

• Advise clients on options for their assets: relocate, sell, donate, store, or appraise
• Coordinate appraisers, auction houses, estate buyers, and specialty handlers as needed

Move Oversight and Concierge Support

• Oversee moves in person, from pack-out through delivery
• Coordinate vendors and subcontractors (movers, packers, art handlers, cleaners, installers)
• Stage rooms before the client arrives
• Stock the refrigerator and pantry, and prepare essentials for the first days in the new home
• Meet clients on arrival and resolve any issues on the spot
• Handle tasks outside the movers' scope

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree, or equivalent experience serving UHNW clients or family offices
• 10 years of demonstrated experience working with UHNW individuals, including discretion, confidentiality, and an elevated standard of service
• Personal experience managing multiple household moves
• Strong organization, vendor management, and follow-through
• Comfortable working on-site in client homes, with a flexible schedule around move dates
• You'll need references

Preferred

• Military or military-family background, including experience organizing household moves for PCS or deployment
• Experience in estate management, private household staffing, luxury hospitality, or concierge services
• Familiarity with fine art, antiques, or high-value collections handling

Requirements

• Background check and drug screening required
• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation

Pay: $75.00 - $100.00 per hour
