Logistics Officer

About the role

This role involves managing daily logistics operations, including inbound and outbound shipments, import/export and customs clearance. You will coordinate with carriers, freight forwarders, suppliers and customers, manage warehouse operations, and maintain accurate inventory records.

Key responsibilities

• Handle daily inbound and outbound shipments, including import/export and customs clearance.
• Coordinate with carriers, freight forwarders, suppliers and customers on shipment schedules, delivery arrangements and required documents.
• Manage daily warehouse operations, including goods receiving, storage, picking, packing and dispatch.
• Monitor inventory levels and movements and ensure inventory records are accurate and up to date.
• Conduct regular stock counts and investigate any inventory discrepancies.
• Prepare and verify shipping and customs documentation to ensure accuracy and compliance.
• Monitor shipment and inventory status, and follow up on any delays, discrepancies or operational issues.
• Maintain proper logistics, warehouse and inventory records and reports.
• Follow company SOPs and support process improvements to enhance operational efficiency and inventory control.
• Perform other logistics and ad hoc duties as assigned.

Requirements

• Higher Diploma or above in Logistics, Supply Chain Management or related disciplines
• 3–5 years of relevant experience in logistics, shipping or import/export
• Solid experience in China–Hong Kong shipments and customs clearance
• Experience in inventory control and warehouse operations is preferred
• Good coordination, communication and problem-solving skills
• Well-organized, detail-oriented and able to work independently in a fast-paced environment
• Good command of written and spoken Chinese and English; Mandarin is required
• Proficient in MS Office, particularly Excel
• Degree holders or candidates with more relevant experience may be considered for a higher level of appointment.
