Logistics Officer

LOGISTICS OFFICER

Employment Type: Full-Time

We are looking for a Logistics Officer to coordinate and manage the company’s logistics, shipments, deliveries, and related documentation. The ideal candidate should be organized, detail-oriented, and able to coordinate effectively with suppliers, clients, freight forwarders, and internal departments.

Key Responsibilities

• Coordinate local and international shipments, deliveries, and transportation.
• Prepare and maintain shipping and logistics documents, including invoices, packing lists, delivery notes, and shipping documents.
• Coordinate with suppliers, freight forwarders, shipping agents, and transport companies.
• Track shipments and provide timely updates on delivery status.
• Arrange and monitor deliveries to ensure timely and accurate receipt of materials.
• Coordinate with the purchasing, sales, warehouse, and estimation teams regarding material requirements and deliveries.
• Follow up on customs clearance and import/export documentation when required.
• Maintain accurate records of logistics activities, shipment schedules, and delivery documents.
• Obtain and compare freight and transportation quotations.
• Monitor logistics costs and assist in controlling transportation expenses.
• Resolve delivery delays, documentation issues, and other logistics-related concerns.
• Ensure proper filing and organization of all logistics documents.
• Perform other logistics and administrative duties as assigned.

Qualifications & Requirements

• Minimum 2 years of experience in logistics, shipping, or supply chain operations.
• UAE experience is preferred.
• Knowledge of import/export procedures and shipping documentation is an advantage.
• Good knowledge of MS Office, particularly Excel and Outlook.
• Strong communication and coordination skills.
• Good organizational and time-management skills.
• Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
• Strong attention to detail.
• Candidates with experience in the construction, engineering, or MEP industry will be an advantage.
