What they need

Help Us Build the Next Version of Our Operations Team

We are a growing logistics company, and we are looking for people who want to do more than simply perform a job.

We want critical thinkers, passionate workers, problem solvers, and future leaders who are excited about helping build a company while it is growing.

Our company is still evolving. That means not every process is perfect, not every problem has already been solved, and not every system has already been built.

That is the opportunity.

If you are the type of person who notices inefficiencies and immediately starts thinking about how they could be improved, we want to meet you.

If you enjoy solving problems, creating structure, taking ownership, and making an operation better than you found it, this may be the right environment for you.

You will have the opportunity to contribute ideas, improve workflows, challenge inefficient processes, and help shape how our Operations Department functions as the company grows.

We are not looking for someone who only asks:

“What do you want me to do?”

We are looking for someone who also asks:

“Why are we doing it this way?”

“Is there a better way?”

“What problem are we trying to solve?”

and

“How can I help make this operation stronger?”

About the Role

The Logistics Operations Coordinator supports our Operations Leaders with the daily execution of customer freight while helping create the structure necessary for our company to scale.

You will work directly inside the operation: entering shipments, coordinating with carriers and drivers, tracking freight, helping with KPIS, maintaining documentation, communicating internally, and identifying problems before they become larger issues.

But this position is about more than completing transactions.

As you learn the operation, we expect you to think critically about the work you are doing.

Where are we losing time?

Where are mistakes happening?

What information is missing?

What could be automated?

What process could be simplified?

What could make communication between Sales and Operations better?

What could allow the company to handle more freight without sacrificing service?

Your ideas matter here.

Our goal is to build a team where employees do not simply work inside the operation—they help improve it.

What You'll Do

You will help manage the daily execution of freight by:

  • Entering new shipments accurately into the TMS by creating templates being proactive
  • Reviewing shipment information for missing, incomplete, or conflicting details
  • Preparing and sending rate confirmations and shipment documentation
  • Updating pickup and delivery appointments
  • Tracking shipments and maintaining accurate status updates
  • Communicating routine shipment updates to customers
  • Following up with carriers and drivers
  • Obtaining PODs and required documentation
  • Maintaining organized and complete load records
  • Assisting Operations Leaders with carrier sourcing
  • Communicating with vendors regarding availability and shipment requirements
  • Identifying loads requiring immediate attention
  • Escalating service failures and time-sensitive issues
  • Helping resolve missing information, documentation problems, and operational discrepancies
  • Maintaining strong commun

Pay: $26.00 - $32.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40.0 per week

Benefits:

  • Health insurance
  • Paid time off
  • Vision insurance

Application Question(s):

  • You have 6 active loads. One driver is late, one carrier has stopped responding, one customer wants an immediate update, one load still needs a carrier, and two loads need paperwork completed. You cannot complete everything at once. Explain how you would decide what to work on first and what you would escalate to your Operations Leader.
