About the Role

[Company Name] is looking for a Logistics Operations Manager to oversee day-to-day logistics activities and ensure the efficient movement of goods from suppliers and warehouses to customers.

The successful candidate will manage operational performance, coordinate logistics teams and service providers, monitor delivery activities, and identify opportunities to improve efficiency, service quality, and operating costs.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage daily logistics and transportation operations.
• Coordinate inbound and outbound shipments, deliveries, and distribution activities.
• Plan and monitor delivery schedules and transportation resources.
• Work closely with warehouse, procurement, sales, customer service, and other internal teams.
• Manage relationships with logistics partners, transport providers, and suppliers.
• Monitor delivery performance, shipment accuracy, and service levels.
• Track logistics costs and identify opportunities for operational savings.
• Investigate delivery delays, shipment issues, and operational discrepancies.
• Maintain accurate logistics and inventory-related records and reports.
• Develop and monitor key performance indicators for logistics operations.
• Ensure logistics activities follow company procedures and applicable Singapore requirements.
• Lead, train, and support logistics team members.
• Implement process improvements to increase productivity and service reliability.
• Prepare regular operational reports for management.

Requirements

• Diploma or degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business, or a related discipline.
• Relevant experience in logistics, transportation, warehouse operations, distribution, or supply chain management.
• Experience managing logistics operations and coordinating multiple stakeholders.
• Strong organisational, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
• Good written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to manage priorities and work effectively in a fast-paced operational environment.
• Good knowledge of Microsoft Office and/or logistics management systems.
• Experience managing third-party logistics providers is an advantage.
• Knowledge of Singapore logistics operations and relevant requirements is an advantage.
