Logistics Operations Manager

Logistics Operations Manager (Transportation & Distribution) To lead and manage transportation and distribution operations, ensuring the safe, efficient, reliable, and cost-effective movement of goods from origin to destination in support of the company’s supply chain, customer service, and business objectives. The role is accountable for end-to-end transportation planning and execution, distribution network performance, fleet and transport capacity optimisation, delivery service levels, and logistics cost management.

The Logistics Operations Manager is responsible for driving continuous improvement, operational productivity, and cost optimisation through effective transport planning, route optimisation, carrier and logistics service provider (LSP) management, resource allocation, and performance monitoring. The role ensures compliance with quality, food safety, customs, environmental, health and safety (EHS), road transport, and other applicable regulatory requirements while maintaining high standards of transport safety, operational control, and service delivery.

Working closely with internal stakeholders, logistics service providers, customers, and external authorities, the Logistics Operations Manager ensures seamless end-to-end distribution, effective management of operational risks, and business continuity. The role also focuses on developing a high-performing team, strengthening governance and accountability, leveraging data-driven insights to improve key performance indicators (KPIs), and implementing sustainable logistics solutions to support organisational growth and the achievement of strategic and operational objectives including any adhoc projects.
