Salary: £15.72 per hour, progressing to £17.77 per hour upon completion of the Wilson James Progression Pathway
Hours: Average 40.25 hours per week
Shift Pattern: 4 on, 5 off, 5 on, 4 off
Day Shift: 06:00-18:00

The Role

We have an exciting opportunity to join Wilson James as a Logistics Operative within our Building Management Services (BMS) team at Hinkley Point C.

Working as part of a dedicated team, you will provide essential logistics support across the project, helping to maintain a safe, organised and efficient working environment.

Your duties will include:

• Installing wayfinding and emergency signage
• Waste management and segregation
• General housekeeping
• Receipt and stock control of consumables and equipment
• Providing logistics support to contractors across site
• General vehicle maintenance and housekeeping
• Following Safe Systems of Work and the HPC Code of Conduct

What We Need From You

Essential:

• CITB Operative Health & Safety Test, to be completed before starting
• Good communication skills
• Ability to understand and follow Safe Systems of Work
• Strong work ethic and a reliable approach
• Ability to work effectively as part of a team
• Full UK Driving Licence

Desirable:

• Previous construction experience
• Knowledge of mechanical and electrical tooling and consumables
• Understanding of logistics processes and regulations

Site Requirements

• Ability to provide a 3-year work, unemployment and/or education history and complete the required HPC vetting process
• Ability to obtain an HPC pass
• Visa sponsorship is not available for this role. You must already have the right to work in the UK
• Please be aware that access to the site requires a bus journey of approximately 45 minutes each way
