Logistics Sales Coordinator

Freight / Logistics Experience Required

efreightship is looking for an experienced Logistics Sales Coordinator to join our growing team. This position works directly with an established Freight Broker to help manage and service an existing book of business.

This is not a traditional new-business sales position. The Logistics Sales Coordinator plays an important role in the day-to-day management of customer shipments, including quoting, carrier sourcing, rate negotiation, booking, tracking, customer communication, and problem resolution.

We are looking for someone with previous freight or logistics experience who understands the fast-paced nature of transportation, can manage multiple shipments and priorities at once, and takes pride in providing exceptional service to customers and carriers.

Key Responsibilities:

• Work directly with an established Freight Broker to support and manage their book of business
• Quote and coordinate customer shipments
• Source qualified carriers and cover Truckload shipments
• Negotiate competitive carrier rates
• Book and dispatch shipments with carriers
• Track shipments from pickup through final delivery
• Proactively provide customers with shipment updates
• Communicate with carriers, dispatchers, and drivers throughout the shipment
• Handle all aspects of LTL, including quoting, booking, tracking, claims, and billing adjustments
• Assist with Truckload, LTL, Expedited, Project Freight, and Drayage shipments
• Identify and resolve delays, service failures, scheduling issues, and other shipment-related problems
• Build and maintain strong carrier relationships
• Build and maintain strong relationships with existing customers
• Maintain accurate shipment information and documentation within our Transportation Management System (TMS)
• Provide the high level of customer service and responsiveness our customers expect from Efreightship

What We're Looking For:

• Minimum 2 years of freight, transportation, or logistics experience preferred
• Freight brokerage or 3PL experience strongly preferred
• Experience sourcing carriers and negotiating freight rates
• Knowledge of Truckload and LTL transportation
• Strong telephone and written communication skills
• Excellent organizational and time-management skills
• Ability to multitask while maintaining strong attention to detail
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
• Ability to remain organized and responsive in a fast-paced environment
• Dependable, trustworthy, and honest
• Strong work ethic and willingness to take ownership of responsibilities
