At ALP, every warehouse solution starts with understanding our customers' business. As Logistics Solution Design Manager, you'll turn operational challenges into smart, practical, and scalable logistics solutions.

Working closely with Business Development, Operations, Engineering, and customers, you'll design warehouse solutions that balance operational efficiency, automation, commercial viability, and long-term growth. From concept development to implementation, you'll help shape solutions that deliver real value for our customers.

Whether it's a new distribution centre, an automated warehouse, or a supply chain optimisation project, you'll combine data, engineering, and commercial thinking to create solutions that work in the real world.

Job Responsibilities

What you will do...

Solution Design & Engineering

• Design end-to-end warehouse and logistics solutions tailored to customer requirements and operational needs
• Analyse customer supply chain data, operational flows, inventory profiles, and throughput to develop efficient warehouse concepts
• Design warehouse layouts, storage strategies, workflows, and material handling processes that maximise productivity and space utilisation
• Develop automation concepts including AS/RS, conveyors, AGVs, AMRs, and warehouse technologies where appropriate
• Ensure solution designs align with operational capabilities, customer expectations, and ALP standards

Commercial Solution Development

• Develop solution proposals, costing models, and commercial assumptions for new business opportunities
• Prepare labour models, warehouse capacity calculations, storage requirements, productivity analysis, and financial evaluations
• Support RFPs, RFQs, tenders, and customer proposals with technical and commercial inputs
• Build business cases that balance operational performance with commercial viability

Cross-functional Collaboration

• Partner closely with Business Development to understand customer requirements and develop winning solutions
• Work with Operations to validate solution feasibility and operational readiness
• Collaborate with Engineering, Construction, Automation, IT, and Finance teams throughout solution development
• Present solution concepts, layouts, and value propositions to customers and internal stakeholders

Project Implementation

• Support project handover from solution design to implementation teams
• Ensure approved solution designs are translated accurately into operational execution
• Provide technical guidance during implementation, testing, and go-live activities
• Review operational performance after implementation and recommend continuous improvements

Continuous Improvement & Innovation

• Monitor logistics trends, warehouse technologies, and automation solutions to improve ALP's solution capabilities
• Develop and standardise solution design methodologies, templates, and best practices
• Support knowledge sharing and coach commercial teams on logistics solution concepts and customer value propositions

Qualifications

Who you are…

We are looking for a candidate with the following skills to manage the main tasks:

• Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering, Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Engineering, or a related field
• 5+ years of experience in logistics solution design, supply chain engineering, warehouse operations, industrial engineering, or contract logistics
• Experience designing warehouse operations, storage concepts, fulfilment processes, or logistics networks
• Strong knowledge of warehouse operations, inventory management, material flow, and productivity analysis
• Experience preparing warehouse costing models, labour models, and commercial proposals
• Familiarity with Warehouse Management Systems (WMS), Transport Management Systems (TMS), and warehouse automation technologies
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel; experience with AutoCAD, Visio, or warehouse design software is an advantage
• Experience with AS/RS, automation, or smart warehouse technologies is highly desirable
• Excellent analytical, presentation, and stakeholder management skills
• Good Command of Thai and English
