Logistics Specialist

Position Summary:

We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Logistics Specialist to coordinate daily transportation, shipments, deliveries, and freight operations. The ideal candidate will be organized, proactive, and comfortable working in a fast-paced environment while communicating with drivers, carriers, customers, and vendors.

Key Responsibilities:

• Coordinate daily shipments, pickups, deliveries, and transportation schedules.
• Track freight and provide timely updates to customers, drivers, and carriers.
• Communicate with carriers, brokers, drivers, vendors, and customers to resolve transportation issues.
• Prepare and maintain shipping documents, bills of lading, delivery confirmations, and transportation records.
• Monitor shipment status and help ensure on-time pickups and deliveries.
• Enter and maintain accurate shipment information in TMS, WMS, and other company systems.
• Assist with load planning, route coordination, and transportation scheduling.
• Verify freight details, delivery requirements, and shipping documentation.
• Resolve delays, scheduling issues, and other operational challenges quickly and professionally.
• Maintain accurate records and support logistics reporting and performance tracking.
• Ensure transportation activities follow company policies and applicable safety requirements.

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Previous experience in logistics, transportation, dispatch, freight coordination, or supply chain preferred.
• Strong organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills.
• Comfortable using computers, Microsoft Office, Excel, and transportation software.
• Ability to manage multiple shipments and priorities in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong attention to detail and follow-through.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Pay: $23.46 - $27.63 per hour
