Logistics Specialist

Position Overview

We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Logistics Specialist to support daily transportation, shipping, and supply chain operations. This role will coordinate shipments, track deliveries, maintain accurate records, and work with carriers, drivers, warehouses, and customers to keep freight moving efficiently and on schedule.

Key Responsibilities

• Coordinate shipments, pickups, deliveries, and transportation schedules.
• Track freight and provide updates to customers, drivers, and internal teams.
• Prepare shipping documents, manifests, BOLs, and delivery records.
• Monitor shipment status and resolve delays, routing issues, and delivery exceptions.
• Maintain accurate logistics, inventory, and transportation records.
• Work with carriers, vendors, warehouses, and customers to ensure smooth operations.
• Use TMS, WMS, GPS/fleet-tracking systems, Excel, and other logistics software.
• Monitor key performance metrics and identify opportunities to improve efficiency.
• Ensure shipments follow company procedures and applicable safety requirements.
• Provide general administrative and operational support to the logistics team.

Qualifications

• 1–2+ years of experience in logistics, transportation, shipping, warehousing, or a related field.
• Strong organizational and problem-solving skills.
• Good communication and customer service abilities.
• Comfortable working with computers, Excel, and logistics software.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
• Knowledge of transportation documentation and freight operations is a plus.

Pay: $25.20 - $28.70 per hour

Expected hours: 40.0 per week
