As a leading international company headquartered in Germany, GGM Gastro specializes in industrial commercial kitchen equipment and serves customers across multiple markets. To support our continued growth and ensure efficient logistics operations, we are looking for an Logistics Specialist to join our team in Sarıyer/ Istanbul.

Your Responsibilities

• Manage end-to-end import logistics operations, from shipment planning and coordination to customs clearance and final delivery.
• Coordinate international import shipments by both sea and road freight.
• Organize and monitor domestic transportation operations, ensuring timely and cost-effective deliveries to warehouses and final destinations.
• Coordinate internal logistics processes with relevant departments
• Liaise with external stakeholders, including international suppliers, freight forwarders, shipping lines, road transport providers, customs brokers, and warehouse operators.
• Track international shipments and coordinate domestic deliveries, proactively identifying and resolving delays, discrepancies, and other operational issues.
• Prepare, review, and maintain import, transportation, and customs documentation in compliance with applicable regulations.
• Follow up on customs clearance procedures and coordinate the required documentation with customs brokers and relevant authorities.
• Support TAREKS applications and related compliance procedures, where applicable.
• Coordinate bonded warehouse operations, including the movement, handling, and release of goods.
• Monitor transportation schedules, delivery timelines, and logistics costs.
• Maintain accurate shipment records and prepare operational and cost reports.
• Identify opportunities to improve logistics processes, optimize costs, and enhance operational efficiency.

What We Are Looking For

• A degree in Logistics, International Trade, Foreign Trade, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
• Advanced English proficiency (minimum C1 level), both written and spoken (required).
• Minimum 2 years of experience in import logistics, transportation, freight forwarding, or supply chain operations.
• Practical experience in international import operations involving both sea and road freight.
• Familiarity with domestic transportation and delivery coordination.
• Good knowledge of import procedures, customs documentation, and international trade regulations.
• Experience with TAREKS procedures and bonded warehouse operations is a strong advantage.
• Experience coordinating with customs brokers, freight forwarders, transport providers, and internal departments.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel.
• Strong organizational, communication, coordination, and problem-solving skills.
• A structured, proactive, and detail-oriented approach to work.
• Ability to manage multiple shipments, prioritize tasks, and meet tight deadlines.
• Strong teamwork skills and the ability to communicate effectively with internal and external stakeholders in an international business environment.
