Logistics Staff (Traffic & Distribution)

The Traffic & Distribution Staff is responsible for monitoring and coordinating the movement of vehicles, deliveries, and personnel within designated areas to ensure safe, orderly, and efficient traffic flow. The role supports daily operations by coordinating with drivers, security, warehouse, logistics, and other concerned teams.

Key Responsibilities

Traffic & Vehicle Management

• Monitor and manage the movement of incoming and outgoing vehicles within the assigned area.
• Direct vehicles to designated loading, unloading, parking, and waiting areas.
• Ensure proper sequencing and positioning of vehicles to minimize congestion and delays.
• Monitor vehicle queues and coordinate movement based on operational requirements.
• Assist in maintaining smooth traffic flow during peak hours and high-volume operations.

Coordination & Communication

• Coordinate with drivers, delivery personnel, security, warehouse, logistics, and other departments regarding vehicle movement and schedules.
• Provide clear instructions to drivers and visitors regarding entry, exit, parking, and loading/unloading procedures.
• Immediately report traffic-related concerns, incidents, delays, or violations to the appropriate supervisor.

Safety & Compliance

• Ensure that traffic and vehicle movement follows established company safety rules and procedures.
• Monitor compliance with designated traffic routes, speed limits, parking rules, and loading/unloading protocols.
• Assist in managing traffic during emergencies, special events, or unusual operational situations.
• Help identify potential traffic and safety hazards and recommend corrective actions.

Monitoring & Documentation

• Maintain records of vehicle entries, exits, deliveries, and other required traffic-related information.
• Prepare basic reports on traffic incidents, delays, violations, and operational concerns.
• Monitor vehicle schedules and coordinate changes when necessary.

Other Duties

• Assist in maintaining an organized and safe workplace around vehicle movement areas.
• Perform other traffic management and operational duties that may be assigned by the supervisor.

Qualifications

• At least Senior High School graduate; college-level or graduate is an advantage.
• Preferably with experience in traffic management, logistics, warehouse operations, dispatch, security, or a related field.
• Good communication and coordination skills.
• Physically capable of working outdoors and standing/walking for extended periods.
• Able to remain alert and attentive in a busy operational environment.
• Can follow safety procedures and company policies.
• Willing to work on shifting schedules, weekends, or holidays when required.
• Reliable, disciplined, and able to work with minimal supervision.
