Logistics Supervisor

We are seeking a highly organized and results-driven Logistics Supervisor to oversee the daily logistics operations and ensure the efficient movement, storage, and distribution of goods. The ideal candidate has a strong background in logistics, freight forwarding, or supply chain management, with proven leadership skills and the ability to optimize logistics processes while maintaining high service standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Supervise and manage the daily operations of the logistics department, including planning, scheduling, and monitoring the movement of goods.
• Coordinate with internal departments and external logistics providers to optimize transportation routes, delivery schedules, and overall logistics performance.
• Oversee the receiving, storage, and distribution of materials and finished goods while ensuring proper documentation and inventory accuracy in coordination with the Materials Control Department.
• Monitor logistics activities to ensure timely deliveries and compliance with company standards and customer requirements.
• Identify opportunities for process improvements to increase operational efficiency and reduce logistics costs.
• Analyze logistics data, prepare reports, and provide recommendations to management on performance, productivity, and cost-saving initiatives.
• Ensure compliance with company policies, safety standards, and applicable industry regulations.
• Resolve logistics issues, shipment delays, and operational challenges promptly to minimize disruptions.
• Supervise, coach, and develop logistics personnel to improve team performance and productivity.
• Maintain effective communication with suppliers, freight partners, and internal stakeholders to support smooth logistics operations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
• At least 5 years of experience in logistics or supply chain management, preferably in the manufacturing, freight, or cargo forwarding industry.
• Strong knowledge of freight forwarding operations, transportation management, warehousing, inventory control, and distribution processes.
• Proficient in logistics software, ERP systems, and Microsoft Office applications (especially Excel).
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
• Strong communication, coordination, and interpersonal skills.
• Proven leadership experience with the ability to manage, motivate, and develop a logistics team.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple priorities effectively.
• Willing to work onsite in Malinta, Valenzuela City.
