Position Summary

The Rigging Company is seeking an experienced Logistics Supervisor to coordinate daily transportation, equipment movements, deliveries, and logistics activities. The ideal candidate is organized, safety-conscious, and capable of coordinating drivers, trailers, equipment, and project requirements efficiently.

Key Responsibilities

• Coordinate daily movement of heavy equipment, machinery, materials, and project cargo.
• Schedule trucks, trailers, drivers, and other transportation resources.
• Coordinate with Operations, Project Managers, Drivers, and Rigging teams.
• Monitor deliveries and equipment movements to ensure timely arrival.
• Assist in planning routes and transportation requirements for heavy and oversized loads.
• Coordinate permits, escorts, and other transport requirements when needed.
• Ensure loads are properly secured and transportation activities follow safety requirements.
• Maintain accurate delivery, trip, vehicle, and logistics records.
• Communicate with clients, suppliers, drivers, and subcontractors regarding logistics activities.
• Monitor vehicle and driver schedules and address delays or operational issues.
• Assist the Logistics Manager with planning, cost control, and reporting.
• Supervise logistics personnel and ensure company policies and procedures are followed.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or relevant experience in Logistics, Supply Chain, Business Administration, or a related field.
• 3–5 years of experience in logistics, transportation, or fleet operations.
• Experience in heavy-haul, construction, heavy equipment, or industrial operations is preferred.
• Knowledge of transportation planning, routing, and load requirements.
• Strong organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to coordinate multiple activities and work under pressure.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office and basic logistics or fleet management systems.
• Willingness to travel to project sites when required.
