Logistics Supervisor

• Responsible for managing the company’s import operations from overseas factories to the United States.
• Establish and maintain a comprehensive and efficient U.S. import customs clearance and inland transportation network.
• Develop and manage reliable customs brokers, freight forwarders, trucking companies, and other logistics service providers.
• Identify and develop reliable container transportation resources from U.S. ports and inland ports to company warehouses.
• Coordinate the entire import logistics process, including shipment scheduling, customs clearance, container pickup, inland transportation, and delivery to warehouses.
• Monitor shipment and container status and proactively resolve issues such as port congestion, customs inspections, delays, demurrage, detention, storage, and other unexpected charges.
• Negotiate transportation rates and service terms with logistics providers and continuously optimize import and inland transportation costs.
• Ensure timely and efficient delivery of imported goods from overseas factories to U.S. warehouses.

Pay: $35,000.00 - $80,000.00 per year
