Logistics Supervisor

Key Responsibilities

• Supervise the receiving, storage, handling, issuance, and movement of raw materials in accordance with company procedures and safety standards.
• Monitor raw material inventory levels, stock accuracy, proper storage conditions, and material availability to support production requirements.
• Ensure proper documentation and recording of all receiving, issuance, transfers, and inventory transactions.
• Conduct and monitor regular physical inventory counts, reconciliation, and investigation of inventory variances.
• Coordinate with Procurement, Production, Quality Assurance, and other departments regarding material requirements, deliveries, shortages, and discrepancies.
• Ensure proper warehouse organization, FIFO/FEFO implementation, material identification, and appropriate storage practices.
• Monitor warehouse manpower, productivity, equipment, and daily operational activities.
• Prepare and submit inventory and logistics reports, including stock movement, variances, and material availability.
• Ensure compliance with company policies, food safety, quality, occupational safety, and warehouse procedures.
• Identify opportunities to improve warehouse and inventory processes, efficiency, and cost control.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Operations Management, or a related field.
• With at least 3 years of relevant work experience in logistics, warehousing, inventory management, or materials management, preferably in a manufacturing environment.
• Knowledgeable in warehouse operations, inventory control, receiving, storage, and material issuance.
• Strong understanding of inventory reconciliation, stock monitoring, and warehouse documentation.
• With experience supervising warehouse/logistics personnel and coordinating with different departments.
• SAP knowledge or experience is an advantage.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel.
• Good organizational, analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
• Willing to work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment and handle operational requirements as needed.
