Logistics Supervisor

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Oversee daily logistics operations, including transportation, warehousing, receiving, dispatching, and distribution.

Supervise drivers, helpers and logistics staff to ensure efficient workflow and timely completion of tasks.

Plan and monitor delivery schedules, transportation routes, and dispatch activities.

Coordinate with customers, suppliers, service providers, and other departments regarding shipment schedules and logistics concerns.

Monitor shipments from dispatch to final delivery and address delays, discrepancies, damages, and other operational issues.

Ensure proper product handling, loading, unloading, and transportation in accordance with company procedures and safety standards.

Ensure accurate and timely preparation of delivery documents, shipment records, and operational reports.

Enforce company policies, transportation requirements, workplace safety standards, and applicable laws and regulations.

Evaluate logistics performance and recommend improvements to enhance productivity, service quality, and cost efficiency.

Perform other related duties as assigned by the immediate superior or management.

QUALIFICATIONS

Bachelor's degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field is an advantage.

At least five (5) years of relevant experience in logistics, transportation, warehousing, or distribution, preferably in a supervisory role.

Knowledge of transportation management, fleet operations, warehousing, inventory control, and distribution processes.

Experience in supervising drivers, helpers and managing company-owned trucks is preferred.

Strong leadership, organizational, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.

Good communication, coordination, and interpersonal skills.

Ability to manage multiple tasks and work effectively in a fast-paced environment.

Proficiency in Microsoft Office and familiarity with logistics or transportation management systems is an advantage.
