Logistics Supervisor

This position is suitable for a highly motivated individual, who has the aspiration to develop long term career in the field of logistics management.

Duties :

• Coordinate the delivery schedules undertaken by the truck drivers and marine barges
• Plan for and monitor the hiring and training of new truck drivers
• Manage the fleet of drivers and marine barges and resolve their operational issues
• Manage the remuneration records for the fleet of drivers
• Prepare monthly reports on logistics operations for management
• Ensure compliance with operational procedures and legal requirements
• Manage health and safety issues of drivers to continuously improve the Company’s health and safety performance
• Undertake any tasks as assigned

What you will need for this role

The successful candidate will possess the following key skills and attributes:

• Bachelor Degree in Logistics Management or related disciplines
• At least 3 years’ relevant working experience
• Basic knowledge of ERP preferred
• Self-motivated, problem-solving capability with analytical mind
• Pleasant and outgoing personality with strong sense of responsibility
• Good presentation, communication and negotiation skills
• A good team player
• Able to work independently and under pressure
• Holder of driving licence for heavy vehicles an advantage
• Good command of written and spoken English and Chinese
