What they need
- Supervise logistics activities supporting airline operations, including the receiving, storage, inventory control, dispatch, and delivery of operational supplies and equipment.
- Ensure the timely availability and distribution of materials and supplies to designated offices, airport facilities, and operational locations.
- Coordinate with Flight Operations, Ground Operations, Maintenance, Procurement, and other relevant departments to address logistics requirements and prevent operational disruptions.
- Monitor inventory levels, stock movements, and replenishment requirements to ensure the availability of essential operational items.
- Oversee the proper handling, storage, and documentation of aviation-related materials and equipment, as applicable to the assigned scope.
- Coordinate with suppliers, freight forwarders, transport providers, and other logistics partners to ensure timely and complete deliveries.
- Monitor supplier performance, delivery schedules, and logistics costs, and implement measures to improve efficiency and minimize delays.
- Ensure the accuracy of inventory records, delivery receipts, stock issuance forms, and other logistics documentation.
- Establish and maintain inventory control procedures to minimize stock discrepancies, losses, and unnecessary expenditures.
- Supervise logistics personnel, assign daily tasks, and monitor performance to ensure productivity and compliance with established procedures.
- Prepare regular reports on inventory status, delivery performance, logistics expenses, and other operational concerns.
- Ensure compliance with company policies, workplace safety requirements, and applicable aviation regulations relevant to the logistics function.
