Logistics Supervisor/ Manager

Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Logistics Supervisor / Manager to oversee end-to-end logistics operations in the Los Angeles area. This position will be responsible for warehouse operations, inland trucking, cross-border transportation, container handling, last-mile delivery, vendor management, and logistics cost control.

Key Responsibilities

1. Logistics Operations Management / 物流运营管理

• Oversee daily operations of warehouses in the Los Angeles area and surrounding regions.
• Manage inland trucking, cross-border delivery, container loading/unloading, and last-mile distribution.
• Ensure smooth coordination across all logistics operations and delivery processes.
• 统筹洛杉矶及周边仓库的日常运营管理。
• 负责内陆拖车运输、跨境派送、集装箱装卸及末端配送等业务。
• 确保各物流环节高效衔接，保障整体运营顺畅。

2. Logistics Planning & Cost Optimization / 物流调度与成本优化

• Develop logistics scheduling and transportation plans.
• Optimize trucking routes and transportation efficiency.
• Monitor and control overall transportation and warehousing costs.
• 制定物流调度及运输方案。
• 优化拖车运输路线及运输效率。
• 控制整体运输及仓储成本。

3. Third-Party Vendor Management / 第三方供应商管理

• Manage contracted trucking companies, warehouse service providers, customs brokers, and other third-party vendors.
• Conduct vendor performance evaluations and business negotiations.
• Coordinate contracts and monitor vendor service quality and compliance.
• 管理合作拖车行、仓储服务商、清关行等第三方供应商。
• 负责供应商考核、商务谈判及合同对接。
• 监督供应商服务质量、履约情况及合规情况。

4. Shipment Tracking & Exception Management / 货物跟踪与异常处理

• Track shipments throughout the entire logistics process.
• Identify and resolve issues including delays, cargo damage, lost shipments, customs holds, and delivery exceptions.
• Coordinate with relevant teams and vendors to ensure timely delivery and successful receipt.
• 全程跟进货物各物流节点。
• 及时处理货物延误、破损、丢件、清关滞留及配送异常等问题。
• 协调相关团队及合作方，确保货物按时完成配送并顺利签收。

5. SOP & Inventory Management / SOP及库存管理

• Establish and continuously improve logistics SOPs and operational procedures.
• Develop inventory management policies and inbound/outbound inspection standards.
• Monitor implementation and ensure the team follows established procedures.
• 搭建并持续完善物流操作SOP及相关管理流程。
• 建立库存管理制度及出入库查验标准。
• 监督团队执行情况，确保各项流程有效落地。

6. Cross-functional Communication / 内外部沟通协调

• Liaise with domestic headquarters, overseas customers, logistics partners, and other stakeholders.
• Provide regular updates on operational performance, potential risks, and corrective action plans.
• Coordinate cross-functional resources to resolve operational issues.
• 对接国内总部、海外客户、物流合作方及其他相关合作伙伴。
• 定期同步运营数据、潜在风险及优化整改方案。
• 协调各方资源，及时解决运营过程中出现的问题。

7. Budget & Cost Management / 预算及成本管理

• Manage monthly logistics budgets and monitor actual spending.
• Perform logistics cost accounting and analysis.
• Identify opportunities for cost reduction and operational efficiency improvement.
• 负责月度物流预算管理及实际费用控制。
• 做好物流成本核算及数据分析。
• 持续提出降本增效方案，提升整体运营效率。

Job Requirements

1. U.S. Logistics Experience / 美国物流经验

• Practical logistics management experience in the United States.
• Experience with the Port of Los Angeles, local drayage operations, overseas warehouse operations, and basic U.S. customs clearance processes is preferred.
• 具备美国物流管理及实际运营经验。
• 熟悉洛杉矶港口、本地内陆拖车（Drayage）、海外仓运营及美国基础清关流程者优先。

2. Bilingual Communication

• Proficient in both English and Chinese as working languages.
• Able to independently conduct business negotiations, handle professional emails, and coordinate with external vendors and partners.
• 中文、英文均可作为工作语言。
• 能够独立进行商务洽谈、邮件沟通及现场对外协调。

3. Systems & Data Skills / 系统及数据能力

• Proficient in Microsoft Excel and familiar with WMS/TMS or other logistics management systems.
• Able to independently prepare operational reports, data analysis, and logistics records.
• 熟练使用 Microsoft Excel，并熟悉 WMS/TMS 等物流管理系统。
• 能够独立制作运营报表、数据分析及物流台账。

4. Problem Solving & Emergency Response / 应急处理能力

• Strong problem-solving, communication, and incident management skills.
• Able to effectively handle peak-season volume surges, shipment exceptions, container changes, delays, and other unexpected situations.
• Capable of conducting post-incident reviews and implementing corrective actions.
• 具备较强的问题解决、沟通协调及应急处理能力。
• 能够应对旺季爆单、货物异常、临时调柜、改期、延误等突发情况。
• 具备问题复盘及持续改善能力。

5. Work Authorization & Availability / 工作身份及工作要求

• Must have valid U.S. work authorization, such as a Green Card, H-1B, EAD, or U.S. citizenship.
• Must be available for long-term, full-time employment in the Los Angeles / Ontario, California area.
• 持有有效的美国合法工作身份，例如绿卡、H-1B、EAD工卡或美国公民身份。
• 能够长期稳定在洛杉矶 / 安大略（Ontario, CA）地区全职工作。

Pay: $150,000.00 - $170,000.00 per year
