Logistics Support - Internship

The company specializes in innovative logistics services by developing and implementing optimized solutions, as well as offering supply chain management (SCM) consultancy to clients using its proprietary Cello platform. Operating in 40 countries worldwide, Samsung SDS Smart Logistics employs over 4,500 logistics experts

The intern will join the Operations team with the aim of learning about and supporting the daily management of sample products used by the company at trade fairs, events, and customer presentations.

Responsibilities:

• Assist in unloading, unpacking, and checking incoming goods, comparing transport documents with actual deliveries.
• Place goods (mainly smartphones, tablets, and accessories) on designated shelves in the small warehouse located in the building, following company procedures and warehouse management system instructions.
• Identify the requested product and deliver it internally within the building to colleagues who have requested it, having previously checked that the product is in good condition.
• Support stock monitoring and inventory, reporting any discrepancies to the manager.
• Assist in the management of documentation relating to incoming and outgoing goods.
• Help to keep the work environment and warehouse spaces functional and tidy in order to make operations faster and more punctual.

Requirements:

• High School diploma
• Accuracy, attention to detail and good organizational skills.
• Teamwork skills and good communication skills.
• Operational flexibility and adaptability.
• Familiarity with basic computer systems and interest in logistics procedures.
• Native-level Italian proficiency required. Good command of English, both spoken and written.

• Internship duration: 6 months, with possibility of further extension.
• Compensation: 900,00-euro gross per month.
