Logistics System Lead Engineer

About the role

The Lead Engineer will participate in end-to-end overseas logistics system projects, including automated AS/RS warehouses, distribution centers and production line logistics systems. You will own solution design, technical documentation review, cross-team coordination, on-site implementation and project delivery.

Location: Middle East/ Russia

Key Responsibilities

1. Participate in detailed solution design, technical parameter refinement, preparation of equipment technical specification documents and review of equipment technical proposals for overseas logistics projects (automated AS/RS, logistics distribution centers, production line logistics etc.).
2. Communicate project design documents, process logic and system scheduling rules to technical teams, and collaborate with team members to meet project design targets.
3. Support the full project lifecycle of overseas logistics systems: interface alignment, design review, installation, commissioning and troubleshooting to achieve successful final acceptance & delivery.
4. Complete collection, archiving and summary of all project documentation in compliance with company requirements throughout project phases.
5. Study regional implementation standards for overseas markets, and participate in drafting company technical specifications and standardization documents for logistics projects.

Requirements

1. Bachelor’s degree or above, major in Mechanical Engineering or Logistics Engineering.
2. Minimum 3 years working experience in logistics system industry.
3. Good written and spoken English communication skills.
4. Proficient in mechanical drawing software and Microsoft Office suite.
5. Strong logical thinking, communication and coordination skills.
6. Team player, highly responsible and self-motivated.
7. Able to take periodic business trips.

Preferred Qualifications

1. 5+ years of experience in conveyor systems or automated logistics equipment design, solution planning and engineering design.
2. Proven capability to independently design automated AS/RS logistics systems and logistics process planning.
3. Hands-on experience in overseas project delivery & implementation.
