Logistics/ Warehouse Manager

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Logistics/Warehouse Manager to join us in Norzagaray, Bulacan. This is a full-time position that plays a critical role in overseeing the efficient operation of our warehouse and logistics operations. As Logistics/Warehouse Manager, you will be responsible for managing daily warehouse activities, optimising storage and distribution processes, and ensuring that our operations meet the highest standards of efficiency, safety, and customer satisfaction. This position is integral to supporting the company's growth objectives and maintaining our competitive advantage in the warehousing and distribution sector.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee all warehouse operations, including receiving, storage, picking, packing, and shipping of goods
• Manage and supervise warehouse staff, including hiring, training, performance management, and scheduling
• Ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental regulations within the warehouse facility
• Monitor inventory levels and implement effective inventory management systems to minimise losses and discrepancies
• Optimise warehouse layout and storage systems to maximise space utilisation and improve operational efficiency
• Coordinate with logistics and transportation teams to ensure timely and accurate delivery of shipments
• Develop and implement standard operating procedures (SOPs) to streamline warehouse processes
• Prepare and analyse warehouse performance reports, including KPIs related to productivity, accuracy, and cost control
• Liaise with customers and internal departments to resolve logistics-related issues and queries
• Manage warehouse budgets and identify cost-saving opportunities without compromising quality
• Maintain accurate records of inventory, shipments, and warehouse activities
• Implement and maintain safety protocols and conduct regular safety training sessions

What we're looking for

• Minimum 10 years of experience in warehouse management or logistics operations
• Proven track record of successfully managing large warehouse facilities and teams of 20+ personnel
• Strong knowledge of warehouse management systems (WMS) and inventory management software
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and data analysis tools
• Excellent leadership and team management skills with the ability to motivate and develop staff
• Sound understanding of health and safety regulations, including OSHA or equivalent local standards
• Strong organisational and time management abilities with the capacity to handle multiple priorities
• Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to make sound decisions under pressure
• Effective communication skills, both written and verbal
• Knowledge of logistics and supply chain processes
• Experience with import/export procedures and documentation is advantageous
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing business needs
• Bachelor's degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, or related field is preferred
• Relevant certifications such as APICS CSCP or Certified Warehouse Logistician (CWL) are a plus
