We are seeking a reliable and experienced Long-Distance Mover / Driver to join our team. This position is ideal for someone who enjoys traveling, working with a team, and taking pride in delivering excellent customer service.

Job Responsibilities

• Safely operate moving trucks for local and long-distance relocations.
• Drive company vehicles while following all applicable traffic and safety laws.
• Load, transport, secure, and unload household and commercial belongings.
• Properly wrap and protect furniture, appliances, and fragile items.
• Conduct thorough truck inspections before and after trips.
• Assist with loading and unloading at origin and destination locations.
• Maintain accurate inventory and documentation throughout the move.
• Communicate professionally with customers and provide updates as needed.
• Follow company safety procedures and moving protocols.
• Work efficiently while maintaining high standards of care.
• Travel to destinations outside the local service area, including overnight trips.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe moving truck.
• Represent the company professionally at every customer interaction.

Qualifications

• Valid driver's license.
• Clean driving record.
• Previous moving or professional driving experience preferred.
• Experience driving a box truck is a plus.
• Ability to safely load, secure, and transport household goods.
• Ability to lift and carry heavy items with assistance when needed.
• Willingness to travel for extended periods.
• Reliable, punctual, and professional.
• Strong communication and customer service skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Must be comfortable with overnight travel and variable schedules.

CDL Requirements:
A CDL may be required depending on the vehicle's weight classification and applicable regulations.

Physical Requirements

• Ability to lift and carry items weighing up to 75–100+ lbs with assistance when necessary.
• Frequent bending, lifting, pushing, pulling, and carrying.
• Ability to work long hours when required by the moving schedule.
• Ability to work indoors and outdoors in various weather conditions.
• Ability to safely perform physically demanding moving tasks.
