About the Role

We’re looking for a talented Long-Form Video Editor who understands that great YouTube content is built through storytelling—not just editing.

You’ll transform hours of raw footage into engaging, high-retention YouTube videos that educate, inspire, and drive meaningful viewer engagement. You’ll identify the strongest ideas, shape compelling narratives, and create polished videos with one clear outcome for the audience.

You’ll work closely with the content and YouTube optimization teams to follow current YouTube best practices while maintaining a premium viewing experience.

Key ResponsibilitiesLong-Form Video Editing

• Review long-form content such as online courses, live streams, coaching sessions, interviews, event presentations, podcasts, and mastermind recordings.
• Identify the strongest ideas and transform raw footage into 7–17 minute YouTube videos.
• Structure each video around one clear lesson, transformation, or outcome.
• Remove unnecessary content while maintaining authenticity, emotional impact, and clarity.
• Use B-roll, motion graphics, captions, animations, sound design, and music to create engaging pacing.
• Maintain strong audience retention throughout each video.

Content Optimization

• Collaborate with content and YouTube optimization teams to improve titles, thumbnails, and viewer retention.
• Apply YouTube editing best practices to improve watch time and engagement.
• Refine editing decisions based on performance metrics and audience feedback.
• Organize project files and maintain efficient editing workflows.

RequirementsNon-Negotiables

• Strong portfolio showcasing YouTube videos for personal brands.
• 3+ years of experience editing long-form YouTube content.
• Ability to identify compelling moments from hours of raw footage with minimal direction.
• Strong storytelling skills and understanding of audience retention and viewer psychology.
• Experience editing educational, coaching, business, or personal development content.
• Excellent English comprehension.
• Strong organizational and file management skills.
• Availability to work 1:00 PM – 9:00 PM Pacific Time.

Must-Have Skills

• Advanced video editing skills with strong pacing and narrative structure.
• Ability to turn long-form recordings into concise, engaging YouTube videos.
• Strong understanding of YouTube storytelling and content strategy.
• Experience with B-roll, graphics, captions, motion design, music, and sound effects.
• Ability to collaborate with content strategists and optimization teams.
• Detail-oriented and able to receive feedback and iterate quickly.
• Proactive problem-solving and independent creative decision-making.

Nice to Have

• Experience editing TED-style or educational presentation formats.
• Familiarity with YouTube optimization and audience retention strategies.
• Experience working with coaches, entrepreneurs, educators, or personal brands.
• Understanding of thumbnail strategy and title optimization.
• Experience analyzing YouTube analytics to improve future content.

Shortlisted candidates will complete a paid editing test using real content.

Compensation

• ₱62,000/month during the probationary period.
• Up to ₱70,000/month after successful completion of the 6-month probationary period, subject to satisfactory performance and positive feedback, plus applicable benefits and bonuses.
• Up to ₱75,000/month after completing 24 months with the Company, subject to continued satisfactory performance, positive feedback, and achievement of agreed-upon scorecard metrics.
