Anticipated Long Term Substitute School Nurse or Health Aide Early December 2026 – Mid-March 2027

MSAD 55 is seeking a nurse or health aide to join our student health services team to support our students. Typical duties include providing basic first aid, supporting chronic health conditions, administering or supervising the administration of prescription medications, maintaining student medical records; and communicating with staff as necessary.

The Ideal Candidate Will

• Demonstrate strong medical knowledge and health care techniques
• Be detail-orientated and organized
• Be energetic and enthusiastic about working with our students
• Be able to establish positive relationships with staff and students
• Be First Aid/CPR certified
• Ideally have Maine School Nurse Certificate (524) issued by the Maine Department of Education or be eligible
