Long-Term Substitute - Asa Adams Elementary November 2, 2026, through late February 2027 RSU 26 in Orono is seeking a qualified Long-Term Second-Grade Substitute Teacher to deliver engaging instruction and maintain a supportive, structured learning environment. The ideal candidate possesses excellent communication abilities, strong classroom management skills, and a commitment to accelerating student growth. This anticipated opening runs from November 2, 2026, through late February 2027. Appropriate teaching certification is preferred. Bachelor’s Degree and CHRC required. The daily compensation rate is $105.00 ($120.00 with current teaching certificate) for the first ten days of the assignment, increasing to $263.74 per day starting on the eleventh day for the remainder of the position.
