Looking for a REMOTE Laravel Developer

About the role

Senior Laravel Developer to take technical ownership of Brand Sentry Pro, an operational SaaS platform that monitors websites for uptime, SSL certificates, domain expiration, performance, vulnerabilities, and security incidents. You'll step into an existing codebase, become its primary owner, and drive both maintenance and new feature development.

Key responsibilities

• Learn the existing codebase and take full technical ownership of the platform
• Maintain and fix issues in the live production system
• Design and build new features, including subscription billing via Stripe (creating products/prices, managing subscriptions, handling webhooks for upgrades, downgrades, and failed payments)
• Debug and continuously improve the production system
• Work independently, making and owning technical decisions
• Communicate clearly and document your work

About you

• Stripe experience is required — you should know how to set up products/pricing, implement subscription checkout, and handle billing webhooks

• Strong hands-on experience with Laravel and PHP

• Solid MySQL or PostgreSQL skills

• Experience building REST APIs and integrating third-party services

• Comfortable with background jobs, queues, scheduled tasks, and automated monitoring systems

• Practical Linux server administration and deployment experience

• Proficient with Git and structured development workflows

• Track record of debugging and improving an existing production codebase

• Self-directed, with the confidence to take ownership of technical decisions

• A plus: experience with cybersecurity tools (e.g., OpenVAS), Docker, AWS, or other cloud infrastructure
