Job Summary

We are seeking a WORK FROM HOME CNC Operator with a focus on MACHINING HOLES FOR SWITCHES AND METERS plastic box manufacturing. In this role, you will operate and program CNC machinery to produce high-quality plastic boxes, ensuring precision and efficiency throughout the production process. Your expertise will contribute to maintaining optimal machine performance, adhering to safety standards, and delivering products that meet exact specifications. Responsibilities

• Set up, operate, and troubleshoot CNC milling machines, CNC lathes, and other industrial equipment used in plastic COVERS
• Program CNC machines using CAD (Computer-Aided Design) files, CAM (Computer-Aided Manufacturing) software, and G-code to produce precise components
• Interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and manufacturing documents to ensure accurate production runs
• Conduct dimensional measurements using precision tools such as calipers, micrometers, and gauges to verify product specifications
• Perform routine maintenance on CNC equipment and mechanical tools like press brake machines and stamping presses to ensure optimal operation
• Follow safety standards in production environments, including proper use of hand tools, shop math for measurements, and adherence to safety protocols
• Collaborate with team members on materials handling, fabrication processes, packaging, and assembly line tasks to optimize workflow

Skills

• Proficiency in CNC programming and CAM programming f
• Strong understanding of blueprint reading and mechanical blueprint interpretation
• Experience operating CNC milling machines, CNC lathes, press brake machines, stamping presses, and other fabrication equipment
• Knowledge of industrial equipment troubleshooting and machine operation best practices
• Familiarity with SolidWorks or similar CAD software for design interpretation
• Ability to perform precision measurements using micrometers, calipers, dial indicators, GD&T (Geometric Dimensioning & Tolerancing), and other measurement instruments
• Mechanical knowledge related to tooling setup, fabrication techniques, and manufacturing processes
• Experience with factory environments including warehouse operations, materials handling, packaging, assembly lines, welding, and shop math skills
• Strong commitment to quality control standards in manufacturing settings
