Job Description – Staff Nurse (OT, Labor Room, Gynae, ICU & NICU)

Position: Staff Nurse
Departments: Operation Theatre (OT), Labor Room, Gynecology, ICU & NICU
Location: Qamar-ul-Islam Hospital
Experience Required: Minimum 2 years in relevant specialty

Job Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality nursing care to patients in OT, Labor Room, Gynecology, ICU & NICU as per assigned duties.
• Assist doctors and surgeons during procedures, deliveries, and critical care interventions.
• Monitor patients’ vital signs, administer medications, and ensure accurate documentation.
• Prepare, maintain, and sterilize equipment required for surgical, obstetric, and critical care procedures.
• Support patients and families with counseling, education, and emotional care.
• Adhere to hospital protocols, infection control, and safety guidelines.
• Collaborate with healthcare teams to deliver holistic and effective patient care.
• Respond promptly to medical emergencies and critical conditions.

Qualifications & Skills

• Education: GNM / B.Sc. Nursing / Post Basic B.Sc. Nursing with valid Nursing Council Registration.
• Experience: Minimum 2 years in OT, Labor Room, Gynecology, ICU, or NICU.
• Skills Required:
• Strong clinical knowledge in specialized areas.
• Ability to handle emergency and critical care situations.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills.
• Compassionate, patient-centered approach.
• Teamwork and professional ethics.

Work Schedule & Salary

• Morning Shift (8 hours): 30,000 per month
• Evening Shift (8 hours): 30,000 per month
• Night Shift (12 hours): 35,000 per month
