What they need
About the role
This role involves performing loading, unloading, and packing of cargo. You will ensure that goods are loaded securely and will not get damaged in transit, assist lorry drivers, and help deliver goods to customers from warehouse or office locations. You will also ensure cleanliness and security of the lorry and warehouse, and perform any ad-hoc duties as assigned.
Key responsibilities
- Perform loading, unloading, and packing of cargo
- Ensure that goods are loaded securely and will not get damaged in transit
- Assist lorry driver
- Assist in delivering goods to customers from warehouse or office
- Handle heavy loads
- Ensure cleanliness and security of lorry and warehouse
- Perform ad-hoc duties as assigned
About you
- Experience in shipping or freight forwarding preferred
- Forklift license is an advantage
- Experienced in handling pallet jack
- Meticulous with an eye for details
- Positive working attitude
- Able to handle heavy loads
