About the role

Ferrovic Corporation (M) Sdn Bhd is seeking a skilled and reliable Lorry Driver (3 tons lorry) to join our transport and logistics team. This is a full-time position based in Puchong, Selangor. As a Lorry Driver, you will be responsible for the safe and efficient transportation of goods across various routes, ensuring timely delivery whilst maintaining the highest standards of safety and professionalism. This role is essential to our operations and directly contributes to our commitment to delivering exceptional service to our customers. Delivery routes are normally within Klang Valley

What you'll be doing

• Operating and maintaining a 3-ton lorry in accordance with road safety regulations and company policies
• Planning efficient routes and managing delivery schedules to ensure goods reach destinations on time
• Loading and unloading cargo safely, ensuring proper securing and documentation of goods
• Conducting pre-journey vehicle inspections and reporting any mechanical issues or damage promptly
• Maintaining accurate records of deliveries, mileage, fuel consumption and vehicle maintenance
• Communicating with dispatchers and customers regarding delivery status and any potential delays
• Adhering strictly to traffic laws, speed limits and safety regulations at all times
• Keeping the vehicle clean and well-maintained, including regular cleaning and minor upkeep
• Assisting with logistics coordination and providing feedback on route efficiency and operational improvements

What we're looking for

• Valid Class E driving licence with GDL (Goods Driving Licence)
• Minimum 2 years of experience driving commercial vehicles
• Strong knowledge of road safety regulations and traffic laws in Malaysia
• Excellent time management and organisational skills with the ability to meet strict delivery deadlines
• Physical fitness and the ability to load and unload cargo as required
• Reliable, punctual and professional attitude with strong work ethic
• Good communication skills and the ability to interact professionally with customers and team members
• Familiarity with mobile phone GPS navigation systems and basic vehicle maintenance knowledge is preferred
• A commitment to safety and the ability to work independently whilst following company procedures
