Job Overview

The Lorry Driver is responsible for performing daily delivery duties in accordance with assigned schedules, ensuring goods are transported safely and on time. This role involves handling items with care to prevent damage or injury and maintaining the vehicle in good working condition through regular servicing and upkeep.

Specific Duties/Responsibilities

·        To perform daily delivery as assigned.

·        To ensure goods/items are delivered on time according to the delivery schedules.

·        Ensures goods/items are handled in safest manner during delivery, to avoid causing injury to anyone.

·        To take care of the vehicle such as servicing, maintaining and etc.

·        To carry out any other task as instructed by Superior.

Qualification, Skills & Experience

Qualification

·        Minimum Secondary School education or equivalent.

·        Possess a valid GDL and E full driving license.

Skills

·      Good knowledge of road safety regulations and local delivery routes.

·      healthy to perform loading, unloading, and long-hour driving tasks.

·      Responsible, punctual, and able to work independently with minimal supervision.

Experience

·        Proven record of safe and responsible driving; prior experience in delivery or logistics is an advantage.
