Lorry Driver

Job Responsibilities:

• Safely operate company lorry to transport hardware and construction materials (e.g., sand, aggregates, cement, bricks) to designated locations.
• Ensure timely delivery according to the assigned schedule and delivery orders.
• Assist with loading and unloading of materials when required.
• Verify delivery orders and ensure correct quantity and type of materials are delivered.
• Perform daily vehicle inspections (e.g., engine, brakes, tyres) and report any defects or maintenance needs.
• Maintain cleanliness and basic upkeep of the assigned vehicle.
• Adhere to all road safety rules, company policies, and transport regulations.
• Plan routes efficiently to avoid delays and ensure fuel efficiency.
• Maintain proper documentation, including delivery orders and logbooks.
• Communicate effectively with operations team, site personnel, and customers.
• Assist with daily operations at the hardware store, including arranging stock, handling materials, and serving customers when required.

Job Requirements:

• Possess a valid E-Full license (mandatory).
• Minimum 1–3 years of experience driving lorries, preferably in construction or logistics industry.
• Good knowledge of local routes and road regulations.
• Physically fit to drive and able to handle loading/unloading tasks.
• Responsible, punctual, and disciplined with strong safety awareness.
• Able to work overtime, weekends, or travel outstation when required.
• Able to work at Simpang Dua, Sitiawan

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: RM1,700.00 - RM2,500.00 per month
