Lorry Driver/ Lorry Driver Assistant

**Job Overview:**Agridata is seeking a dedicated Lorry Driver to join our logistics team. You will play a crucial role in delivering goods and stock items efficiently to our customers, including restaurants and supermarkets. The ideal candidate will be responsible for planning and executing delivery routes, maintaining accurate records, and ensuring safe transportation of goods.

Responsibilities:

• Deliver goods and stock items to Agridata customers, ensuring timely and cost-effective distribution.
• Efficiently load and unload goods, ensuring proper handling and safety of packages.
• Plan and execute delivery routes to optimize time and fuel usage.
• Adapt to changes in delivery schedules and manage unforeseen circumstances effectively.
• Maintain accurate records of deliveries, including receipts and invoices, and communicate effectively with both warehouse and retail personnel.
• Ensure compliance with all regulations by maintaining a valid Malaysian D License and a Vocational GDL - D License for lorry operations.
• Conduct routine checks on the lorry to ensure it is in good working condition and report any issues promptly.
• Provide professional and courteous service during all interactions with store personnel and assist in resolving any delivery-related issues.
• Prioritize safety in all job aspects, adhering to safe driving practices and maintaining physical fitness for tasks such as loading and unloading.
• Troubleshoot and address any transportation issues that may arise.
• Manage time effectively to adhere to set delivery schedules.
• Support the operations department with additional tasks as needed.

Qualifications:

• Possession of a valid Malaysian D License for lorry operation.
• Vocational GDL - D License for lorries.
• Proven experience as a lorry driver or in a similar role.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to manage time effectively and adapt to changing schedules.
• Physical fitness and ability to handle heavy lifting.
