LORRY SUPERVISOR

Salary: RM2,500 + Trip Allowance

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

• Supervise and coordinate daily activities of lorry drivers and delivery operations.
• Plan and monitor daily delivery schedules, routes, and trip assignments.
• Ensure poultry products are delivered safely, accurately, and according to the scheduled delivery time.
• Monitor loading and unloading activities to ensure products are handled properly and in accordance with company procedures.
• Ensure all delivery documents, trip records, delivery orders, and related documentation are properly completed and maintained.
• Monitor the condition, cleanliness, and basic maintenance of company lorries and report any defects or issues to the management.
• Ensure drivers comply with company policies, road safety regulations, and operational procedures.
• Monitor drivers' attendance, punctuality, performance, and discipline.
• Coordinate with the warehouse, production, sales, and management teams to ensure smooth delivery operations.
• Handle delivery-related issues, delays, customer complaints, and other operational matters when necessary.
• Monitor fuel usage, trip mileage, and other transportation-related expenses.
• Ensure proper hygiene and cleanliness standards are maintained during the transportation and handling of poultry products.
• Prepare daily or periodic reports on delivery activities and vehicle usage.
• Perform any other duties related to transportation and delivery operations as assigned by the Management.

JOB REQUIREMENTS

• Minimum SPM qualification; Diploma in Logistics, Transportation, Operations Management, or related field is an added advantage.
• Previous experience in logistics, transportation, delivery operations, or poultry/F&B industry is preferred.
• Experience supervising lorry drivers or delivery teams will be an added advantage.
• Good knowledge of delivery routes and local areas.
• Able to manage multiple delivery schedules and handle operational issues effectively.
• Good communication, coordination, and leadership skills.
• Responsible, punctual, disciplined, and able to work independently.
• Willing to work according to operational and delivery schedules.
• Able to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Possess a valid driving licence; GDL licence is an added advantage.
• Willing to travel and monitor delivery operations when required.

Pay: Up to RM2,500.00 per month
