This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys working in a hands-on, fast-paced environment and takes pride in keeping things organized and looking their best. As a Lot Attendant, you will play an important role in creating a positive first impression for our customers by ensuring our vehicles and dealership lot are clean, organized, and ready for business each day.

Role Summary:

The Lot Attendant is responsible for the care, organization, and presentation of vehicles on the dealership lot. This role ensures that all new and pre-owned vehicles are clean, fueled, properly parked, and ready for customer viewing or delivery. The Lot Attendant supports the Sales and Service teams by assisting with vehicle movement, lot organization, and general upkeep of the dealership grounds.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Park, organize, and move vehicles on the lot to ensure a professional display.
  • Wash, vacuum, and fuel vehicles to ensure they are customer-ready.
  • Assist with vehicle deliveries and prepare vehicles for customer pick-up.
  • Maintain the cleanliness and organization of the dealership lot and surrounding areas.
  • Perform vehicle inspections upon arrival and report any damage or issues.
  • Support the Sales and Service Departments with vehicle movement as needed (test drives, service drop-offs, etc.).
  • Ensure all vehicles are locked, keys are properly stored, and dealership security procedures are followed.
  • Remove snow, debris, or hazards from the lot to maintain a safe environment.
  • Assist with dealership events, promotions, and display setups.
  • Other related duties as required.

Qualifications & Requirements:

  • High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
  • Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
  • Ability to safely operate both manual and automatic transmission vehicles.
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to vehicle presentation.
  • Dependable, punctual, and able to work in a team environment.
  • Willingness to work outdoors in varying weather conditions.
  • Previous automotive or lot experience is an asset, but not required.

Join a supportive team and become part of the Steve Marshall Group, a well-established automotive group with dealerships across British Columbia. This part-time opportunity is a great way to gain valuable automotive experience while working in a fast-paced and team-oriented environment.

If you’re reliable, hardworking, and take pride in keeping vehicles and the dealership looking their best, we’d love to hear from you!
