Lounge Server

Position Summary

The Lounge Server is responsible for providing exceptional food and beverage service while creating a welcoming and engaging environment for guests. This role requires strong hospitality skills, attention to detail, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced rooftop lounge setting. Successful candidates are passionate about guest service, teamwork, and creating memorable experiences.

Essential Responsibilities

• Greet guests promptly and professionally.
• Guide guests through menu selections and provide recommendations.
• Take accurate food and beverage orders using the POS system.
• Deliver food and beverages in a timely manner.
• Monitor guest satisfaction and address requests proactively.
• Upsell menu items, signature cocktails, and featured promotions.
• Maintain knowledge of all food, beverage, and specialty offerings.
• Ensure tables, lounge areas, and service stations remain clean and presentable.
• Process guest payments accurately and efficiently.
• Follow all alcohol service regulations and responsible beverage service practices.
• Collaborate with bartenders, hosts, kitchen staff, and management to provide seamless service.
• Adhere to hotel standards, safety procedures, and sanitation guidelines.

Qualifications

Required

• Previous restaurant, lounge, bar, hotel, or hospitality experience preferred.
• Excellent customer service and communication skills.
• Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
• Ability to stand and walk for extended periods.
• Ability to lift and carry up to 25 pounds.
• Availability to work evenings, weekends, holidays, and special events.
• Must meet all local requirements for serving alcoholic beverages.

Preferred

• Upscale dining, cocktail lounge, rooftop venue, or hotel experience.
• Knowledge of wines, spirits, cocktails, and craft beverages.
• Experience using POS systems.
