Position Overview

We are seeking a compassionate, energetic, and dedicated Behavior Technician (BT) to

join our team. In this role, you will work one-on-one with Learners (primarily children)

diagnosed with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) and other developmental disabilities.

Under the direct supervision of a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA), you will

implement individualized behavior intervention plans to help clients develop

communication, social, and daily living skills while reducing challenging behaviors.

Key Responsibilities

Direct Client Care

• Provide 1-on-1 Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) therapy to clients in [home /clinic / school / community] settings.
• Implement individualized treatment plans, behavior reduction protocols, and skill-acquisition programs designed by the BCBA.
• Teach daily living, social, communication, and self-help skills through positive reinforcement.
• Data Collection & Documentation
• Collect accurate, real-time data on client progress and target behaviors using our electronic data collection system.
• Maintain clear, objective, and detailed session notes at the conclusion of every shift.
• Assist the BCBA with assessments as needed.
• Collaboration & Professionalism
• Maintain open communication and collaborate effectively with supervising
• BCBAs, family members, and caregivers.
• Participate in regular team meetings and ongoing clinical supervision.
• Strictly adhere to HIPAA regulations, client confidentiality, and BACB ethical guidelines.

Qualifications & Requirements

Minimum Requirements

• Education: High School Diploma or equivalent (Bachelor’s degree in Psychology, Education, or a related field is a plus).
• Certification: Ability to obtain the Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) credential within 90 days of hire (we provide training!).
• Clearances: Ability to pass a comprehensive background check and fingerprinting.
• Transportation: Reliable transportation, a valid driver’s license, and active auto insurance (for home-based positions).
• Experience: Previous experience working with children, individuals with special needs, or in a caregiving role.
• Communication: Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Preferred Skills & Physical Demands
• Physical Stamina: Must be able to sit on the floor, run, lift up to 40 lbs, and actively play with clients during sessions.
• RBT Certification preferred with increased compensation available for certification holders.

Compensation

• $24-$30 per hour for direct services (Full and Part Time available)
• Paid drive time between clients.
• Paid 40 hour training
• Reimbursement for RBT application, certification, and CEU’s (conditions apply)
