Low-Code Developer

The low-code developer/automation specialist is to help execute a heavy backlog of Airtable and

workflow automation projects.

**SKILLS, KNOWLEDGE AND EXPERTISE**

• Strong, hands-on Airtable experience, including bases, automations, SDK, interfaces, webhooks, and integrations at scale.
• Working knowledge of no-code/low-code automation tools, such as Zapier or similar platforms.
• Basic coding ability, with enough knowledge to troubleshoot and extend no-code setups independently.
• Comfortable using AI tools, such as ChatGPT and Claude, to support or accelerate development.
• Ability to work with webhook and data-formatting workflows, including receiving, parsing, and structuring incoming data.
• Experience with no-code website/app builders, such as Replit, is a plus.
• Strong written documentation skills, with the ability to create clear system and process documentation.
• Highly experienced and comfortable working in Airtable, including automations, interfaces, SDK, webhooks, and integrations.
• Able to understand an objective and take ownership of executing it end to end without needing every step mapped out.
• Asks questions rather than making assumptions and learns quickly from feedback.
• Understands existing tools and workflows before recommending or introducing additional platforms.
• Thoroughly tests their work and demonstrates exceptional attention to detail. Mistakes may happen while learning, but repeated preventable mistakes after feedback has been addressed are a serious concern.
• Humble, coachable, low-ego, and genuinely interested in learning and growing.
• Extremely respectful and collaborative when working with Daniel and other NightOwl team members.
• Works quickly, communicates clearly, and follows projects through to completion rather than focusing only on their individual tasks.
• Able to grow into a role where the client can provide an objective and necessary context, then trust them to determine how to get the project across the finish line.

**RESPONSIBILITIES**

• Build and maintain Airtable bases, automations, and custom interfaces based on clear direction from Daniel.
• Use the Airtable SDK to build custom, lightweight tools and reports.
• Set up and format data flowing in via webhooks, including parsing and formatting data sent into Airtable.
• Build simple onboarding and process checklists tied to Airtable records, such as linking tasks to an employee roster.
• Help integrate AI tools, such as ChatGPT and Claude, into Airtable-based workflows.
• Document systems and processes as they are learned and built, as these have not yet been formally documented.
• Deliver working solutions on a fast timeline, typically one to two weeks per build, prioritizing function over polish.
• Take over and simplify work that is currently being over-engineered by an existing contractor.
