Low Latency/Market Data C++ Software Engineer

We’re working with multiple clients seeking a C++ Software Engineer to help build and evolve low-latency market data architecture .

You will be responsible in building a market data architecture for low-latency trading. The platform is being developed from the ground up, with the goal of creating scalable, high-performance data systems to support fast execution workflows.

You’ll collaborate in a small, highly engaged team and contribute to the architecture and implementation of core components of the tick data stack, including integrating new exchange connectivity as the platform evolves.

Global Quant and Systematic Hedge Fund (Hong Kong) – Minimum 1.2mill. HKD per annum total compensation

C++ engineer with up to 5 years of experience working on trading systems.

Global Quant and Systematic Fund (Singapore) – 300k SGD per annum base + hedge fund bonus upside

No financial background required, but data and memory management experience is required.

Open to strong candidates from tech firms.

Chinese Quant Fund (Hong Kong) – Open budget focusing on securing top talents in the market

C++ engineer with 3+ years of experience in low-latency C++ engineering.

Mandarin is required.

Responsibilities:

• Build and enhance a low-latency platform from scratch (greenfield development)
• Write modern, high-performance C++
• Make architectural contributions to newly designed systems
• Support adding and onboarding new exchanges to the platform
• Take project ownership aspects, from planning through delivery
• Collaborate closely with developers and researchers working across low-latency teams
• Contribute to performance investigations and tuning for production-grade latency/throughput

Generic Requirements:

• 3 - 10 years of experience writing low-latency/high-performance modern C++
• Experience with low-latency systems is required
• Strong understanding and practical experience with C++ optimization techniques
• Experience with low-level profiling and tuning to drive latency and performance improvements
• Clear communication skills and a strong team orientation, with interest in building an excellent engineering culture
