Low-Voltage Audio Visual & Smart Technology Installer

Avanta Smart Technology is seeking a dependable and experienced Low-Voltage Audio Visual & Smart Technology Installer to join our growing team. This position involves installing, servicing, and troubleshooting smart technology systems for new and existing residential and commercial projects.

Responsibilities

• Install and troubleshoot audio/video and smart technology systems
• Run, terminate, label, and test low-voltage wiring
• Install televisions, speakers, amplifiers, receivers, and home theater systems
• Install security cameras, networking equipment, Wi-Fi access points, and smart devices
• Perform rough-in, trim-out, equipment installation, and final system testing
• Diagnose technical issues and complete repairs or system upgrades
• Read plans, follow project specifications, and coordinate with contractors and other trades
• Maintain a clean, organized, and professional jobsite
• Clearly explain system operation to customers

Qualifications

• Certified Limited Energy Systems Specialty Contractor License — ES (Required)
• Previous low-voltage, audio visual, smart home, electrical, or related installation experience preferred
• Familiarity with residential and commercial construction
• Ability to use hand tools, power tools, ladders, and testing equipment
• Basic understanding of networking, Wi-Fi, and low-voltage wiring
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
• Professional appearance and customer-service skills
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
• Ability to lift equipment and work in attics, ceilings, and other construction environments
• Must be dependable, punctual, and able to work independently or as part of a team

Job Details

• Job Type: Full-time
• Schedule: Monday through Friday, with occasional overtime as needed
• Compensation: Based on experience
