Low Voltage Cable Technician 2- Night Shift/ Evening Shift

Skills Required:

• Evening/ Night shift hours 3x12 shifts
• 4+ years of experience in low voltage installation
• Technical Competence (terminations, testing, proper installation)
• Independence (completes tasks correctly without constant supervision)
• Problem Recognition (identifies issues and asks the right questions)
• Jobsite Awareness (pathway planning, code awareness, coordination)
• Quality Ownership (verifies work, corrects mistakes, follows standards)
• Reliability (attendance, punctuality, consistency)

Physical Requirements:

• Ability to lift and carry 100lbs
• Must be comfortable with heights and be able to climb up to a 20 ft ladder and use scissor lift, boom lift etc.
• Must be able to crawl through a 2x2 crawl space
• Must have reliable transportation to job sites that change daily

Core Responsibilities:

• Pull, coil, and secure cable neatly
• Understand fire-rated pathways and basic cable routing restrictions
• Installing faceplates
• Follow instructions, safety rules, and company policies
• Complete assigned tasks independently and correctly
• Terminate jacks and RJ-45 ends to company standards
• Test, label, and verify installed cabling
• Determine basic cable pathways and follow code requirements
• Install and connect devices such as WAPs, cameras, and speakers
• Coordinate work with Lead Technician as needed

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $18.00 - $30.00 per hour
