Johal Solutions, Inc. is a growing electrical and low-voltage/security camera installation company serving residential and commercial clients across the San Jose area. We're expanding our team and looking for a reliable, motivated technician to join us.

The Role

We're looking for a Low Voltage Technician with attic and crawlspace experience to assist with security camera, network, and structured wiring installations. You'll be working regularly in tight, confined spaces — running cable, mounting equipment, and supporting our lead technician on job sites. This is a great opportunity for someone who wants to build a long-term career in low voltage and electrical work, with room to grow into more advanced responsibilities.

Responsibilities

• Assist with installation of security cameras, NVR/DVR systems, and networking equipment (PoE switches, access points, routers)
• Run and terminate low voltage cabling (Cat5e/6, coax) through attics, crawlspaces, and walls
• Work comfortably and safely in confined and elevated spaces (attics, crawlspaces, ladders)
• Support lead technician with mounting, wiring, and basic troubleshooting
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized job site
• Communicate professionally with clients on-site
• Learn and eventually assist with basic electrical tasks under supervision

Requirements

• Prior hands-on experience working in attics and/or crawlspaces required
• Reliable transportation — must have your own vehicle
• Physically able to lift equipment, climb ladders, and work in varying conditions
• Reliable, punctual, and able to show up consistently for scheduled shifts
• Strong work ethic and willingness to learn
• Basic hand tool familiarity preferred
• Interest in eventually cross-training into electrical work is a big plus
• Must pass a background check
