JOB DESCRIPTION —

Join a team that's brightening homes across Atlanta Metro and surrounding counties. Peachtree Lights installs premium residential smart-home lighting — accent, security, and festive permanent lighting that combines cutting-edge technology with stunning aesthetics. We're looking for skilled, dependable Installation Technicians to bring these lighting systems to life in customers' homes.

What You'll Do

• Install with precision: Set up permanent smart-lighting systems on homes, following the detailed specs in our software.
• Ensure quality: Deliver flawless installations with exceptional attention to detail.
• Communicate effectively: Walk customers through the installation plan and provide outstanding service.
• Solve problems: Address challenges creatively to complete jobs efficiently and safely.
• Work safely: Comfortably work at heights up to 40 ft (occasionally up to 50 ft) in varying weather.
• Maintain records: Use our software to update job details and keep everything accurate.

What We're Looking For

• Construction experience in contracting, construction, or a related trade — appreciated but not required.
• Tech-savvy: Familiarity with lighting, low-voltage/data wiring, and electrical systems (LED controllers or WLED a plus).
• Self-starter: Motivated, organized, and able to work independently after training.
• Team player: Respectful communication with management, coworkers, and customers.
• Detail-oriented: High standards for quality and safety on every install.
• Physically capable: Comfortable at heights and handling equipment in various conditions.

Qualifications

• Vehicle capable of hauling materials and ladders, with a valid driver's license, registration, and insurance.
• Ability to lift and carry heavy equipment and ladders.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Strong English communication (written and verbal).
• Construction attire and tools required (see below).

Required Tools & Equipment

• Vehicle: Truck or vehicle equipped to transport ladders and materials.
• Ladders: 18 ft Little Giant, 32 ft extension, 40 ft (available at the warehouse if needed).
• Tools: Impact drivers, speed square, nail bags, wire strippers, tool belt, tin snips, nut driver bits (¼" and 5/16"), glow rod, marking pencil, spade bit set, tape measure, etc.

Work Details

• Atlanta for material pickup and check-ins.
• Team meetings (virtual) Mondays at 8 a.m. as needed.
• Job-site start time: 9–10 a.m.
