What You’ll Be Doing

In this role, you’ll be hands-on with some pretty cool tech—think cameras, access control systems, intrusion detection systems, and networking devices. You’ll start by teaming up with our lead technicians at various job sites to learn the ins and outs of our systems. Before you know it, you’ll be running projects from start to finish and mastering a wide range of complex low-voltage systems.

Here’s a quick snapshot of a day in the life:

• Start your day: Get your instructions and hit the road with your team.
• Get to work: Install, check-in with your supervisor, rinse, repeat.
• Wrap it up: Clean up the site, show the client how everything works, take darn good notes & head back to the office to close out the day.

• You’re a clear communicator—whether you’re chatting with the office, your teammates, or clients.

• You’re always eager to learn and improve.

• You work well in a team, but you can hold your own, too.
• Reliability and punctuality are second nature to you.
• You’re okay with the physical side of the job—lifting, climbing ladders, attic crawls, working indoors and out... whatever the task requires.
• You know your way around computers and technology.
• You’re driven to earn certifications.
• Experience with running wires, networking, or working on commercial sites? That’s a big plus.
• You'll also need a valid and active driver's license to drive are awesome looking vans.

• This is a full time gig.
• Pay ranges from $20 to $26 per hour.
• You can expect to work 37-45 hours a week, depending on what our customers need.

Where You’ll Work

In-person, hands-on, getting things done based out of our Lincoln, NE headquarters. Once you've got some experience under your belt with the LAE Way, you'll have the opportunity to do key installs throughout the Midwest.
